APK DISTRIBUTION

1. Where to get it

Burgerman for Android is distributed as an APK file, a direct download rather than through Google Play. The only official download links are on burgerman.limpopovoice.co.za. The files are hosted in our public releases repository on GitHub (chrisjmocke/burgerman-releases). Please do not install Burgerman from any other website, chat group or file-sharing link, because we cannot vouch for those copies.

2. Which file do I need?

• burgerman-arm64.apk: for most modern Android phones.
• burgerman-arm32.apk: for older phones. Try this one if you see "App not installed".

3. How to install

1. Download the APK on your phone.
2. Open the file. If Android asks, allow installs from your browser or file manager (Settings → Apps → Special access → Install unknown apps).
3. Tap Install, then open Burgerman.
4. Afterwards you can switch the "install unknown apps" permission off again.

4. Updates

The game tells you when a new version is available. To update, download the latest APK from the website and install it over the old one. Your unlock and settings are kept, because every release is signed with the same key.

5. Permissions

Burgerman asks for internet access only. It uses this to check your unlock code, look for updates and post top scores. It does not ask for your contacts, location, camera, microphone or files.

6. Safety

• Android or Google Play Protect may show a warning for apps installed outside the Play Store. That is normal for APK installs. Only continue if you downloaded the file from our website.
• Official releases are all signed with our signing key. If a copy refuses to update over your installed one, it was probably not signed by us. Uninstall it and reinstall from the official link.
• If you find a fake copy of Burgerman, please tell us.

7. Sharing

Please share the link to the website rather than the APK file itself, so everyone gets the latest, safe version. See our Terms and Conditions for the licence.
